Hello everyone!

Just a quick note to let you know about a mini project we are doing. There is a 4th grade class in the LA area in need of books. Because of budget restraints and an overcrowded school, only two students per class can check out books each week. We are trying to build a classroom library in order for more students to be able access books.

If you can, please send books for grades 3-5 to the address listed on the www.thbooksforkids.org website no later than October 19th!! Yes, this is a quick timeline.

Also, be on the lookout for some changes to the website, we are going to be adding a store where you can purchase books for specific projects. That should be coming VERY SOON!

new only, or "like new" ok? if the latter, I can have mom get the kids to go through what they have...

If we can't tell they are not new that is fine. We just don't want to send over books that have markings, worn out bindings, folded corners etc.

SO WONDERFUL!!!!
We can always use more books, though....
