When Horace finished his set of three books of latin odes, he finished off the set of three with his famous odes 3.30, which started out with the immortal words, " Exegi monumentum aere perennius" a phrase that would be quoted, and admired for generations to come, meaning, "I have built a monument more lasting than bronze." As this phrase lived on for two thousand years, through the rise and fall of empires, through numerous generations, so too shall Tyler Hilton's music live on in the hearts and minds of us all forever. I had the good fortune to hear a few of his songs, and they are truly masterpieces, works of art in and of themselves. Tyler is far removed from Roman times, but I am positive his songs will be popular for generations to come, and his memory will be preserved in his ingeius lyrics, and emotional chords. He is truly a master of are time, keep up the good work!
