So who listened to Tyler on the radio? If you didn't catch it, the show was about artists breaking out, going from "aspiring to perspiring" or some catch phrase like that. It was the craziest thing trying to find the station on my radio...the only radio I could find in the house. I'd try to turn the dial...89.3.."Woops, went too far." Barely move it back the other way, 91.3...it was the craziest, most tedious thing. Then I finally found it, after about 20 minutes and I had to stand in the most uncomfortable and difficult position, holding the antenna up in the air with my right hand while still holding the radio in the left while trying my best not to move because if I did all I'd get was static. Must've been a crazy sight.
Anyway, just wanted to hear your thoughts on the show. I liked when Tyler discussed American Idol, I think he brought up some good points about the contestants not having the opportunity to "hone their skill" and progress to the level of performance that they're thrown into. Hats off to you, Tyler.
It's odd that you had to go through all that trouble to get the station. I just programmed the dial in my car to 90.7 and it came it crystal clear. Everything he said sounded just like Tyler, although I did hear stories I'd never heard before. I didn't listen to the entire thing... only until about 10:30... the show is well... boring. Sorry, Ty.
Hope you got our messages today. CRAZY STeamers ya got here. Two Twinkies plus one for good luck. *And then John the Baptist was like, Uh, duh!*

I caught the last half hour of it, and I came in near the end of the American Idol conversation. I was sitting there laughing because the host kept saying "Trevor" and I was convinced he just forgot Tyler's name (funny because there were 3 different artists including Tyler AND Trevor). Anyway, I caught the end where they were discussing covers and how The Beatles did covers but also wrote tons of amazing songs. P.S. I love The Beatles. But the part of the show I did hear, I enjoyed. It was definitely a trip to hear "Rollin Home" on the radio, but a good one. That's all.

Eve, I was thinking...instead of "two twinkies plus one" what about something that comes in a package of three like Bons Bons or something? Just a thought!

I liked what he said about American Idol too Phebe. And I have to agree with Eve that it wasnt the most entertaining radio program and I wasnt really a fan of the hosts but...it was a good interview on Ty's part and hearing Rollin Home coming out of my stereo from the radio was neat. Did I just say "neat?"
