The Nothing Interesting Blog

I'm listening to Jamie Cullum's "Twentysomething" record right now and feeling like writing you all to say hello. Nothing's coming to mind to say yet, but this music seemed like the type to write to. I'm hoping the more I write the more time I'm giving myself to come up with something interesting to say. I've found out you can watch back episodes of TV shows online recently. That's mildly interesting. No, it's not. All it's led to is time away from things I should be doing and an unhealthy obsession with "Heroes" that seems to be ruining friendships and straining family ties. Sigh...

My good friend from high school who now lives in New York is here visiting me and I'm really enjoying that. We were out eating a good hearty meal at Chili's the other night and (not a huge fan of vibeless chain restaurants, but Erick wanted their portobello mushroom burger and, well, damn vegetarians...) discovered our server went to our high school the same time we were there! We were at the same school and never even knew each other and here we are in Tennessee meeting for the first time. Ah, life. Look hard, you high schoolers, at the people at that desk next to you. Chilis, 5 years from now? Chilis. Go figure.

You know, by now I would have thought I would have typed enough filler to give myself the time I need to leave you with a profound nugget as you leave this blog, but I've let you down. I'm playing in LA on the 19th at the "Knitting Factory" and the 24th in Nashville at "3rd and Lindsley" so I'll try to think of some interesting things to spill between songs. Oh, one more thing. I never bought a vacuum when I moved here and I don't know if I'm going to be here long enough to warrant a new vacuum that I'm just going to leave behind. How long will this album take? I know not. Anyway, I'm looking to buy a used vacuum. Is that done? Do people do that? It seems to be the right thing to want. Let me know, I'm in the market...

1) haha.....
PS. Amy is a vege...which makes this funny to, probably, only me

2) make friends Tyler....or go to a smaller school...I knew basically all of the 800 people in my high school...with the exception of very few

3) I have one you can HAVE. For FREE. FREE is GOOD. If you can find a way to get it, it's yours...(come play at Starr Hill in Charlottesville....no?).....when grandma passed away we got a few of her things....which included, I think, 2 vaccuums. And we just got all hardwoods put into our house....so we just need one for our apartment I THINK.......soooo....yeah......good story: then I found $4. The End.

Too bad I'm not closer to Nashville...I think we have an extra around the house. But....(will Tyler even read this???)...check out craigslist.com. It's like ebay but more awesome. Yea...just doing a quick Nashville search I found this.
