Oatmeal and Just OK Movies

Valentine's day '07:

Jaco is such a thinker sometimes. A giver really. A doer, even? Heating up water in the coffee maker in our room and pouring in some of that instant oatmeal he brought from home. Genius. He made me some, too. Apple flavor....mmm, now that's the way to start the day in an over cast Seattle! The Chop Suey Show was GREAT. What an awesome crowd. Thanks to all that came out to see this show. I shall return.



My dad gave us the fairly late call time of 10am for our day long drive to Pullman. Day drives? You kidding me? With this bunch? No prob. Plus, I got two new deliveries from NetFlix just before I left home so we have "Grandma's Boy" and "Eurotrip" and at least 3 macs in the car to use if we run out of battery...just in case we get over each other's company. Why the lame movie choices, you may ask? I couldn't tell you. How these movies made it to the top of my list and got sent to me, I know not. My guess is that my sister or someone mentioned I should see these movies 'cause they were funny so I put them at the top of my list or something. I can't remember. Anyway....sigh...they were ok, I guess. I wouldn't recommend them, but, you know, they weren't the worst movies I've ever seen.



The drive to Pullman was beautiful. We journeyed through snowy passes and little towns that were cute, not sad, and several miles of wheat fields to finally play a very mellow and love-song based set to those who made it to the University's Valentine's Day Dinner and Show starring...ahem. We've been playing a new song called "Don't Forget All Your Clothes" that Joe, Lem, Jaco and I wrote a few months back. I think it's sounding killer. We ate some chicken before the show that kicked it's hands and feet against our stomachs the whole show so sometimes I was more focused on the chicken. He got his revenge for being killed and eaten. I want to take this very public opportunity to apologize to the chicken and say, believe me, if we had to do it again, we would not have eaten you!



Anyway, Jaco and I were roommates again so we stayed up too late talking about who we thought we were and eventually I dreamed I was strong enough to punch holes in walls. Lem and Darwin flew their separate ways to other far off places for other shows early this morning and Beth, Jaco, Dad, and I were left alone to represent the crew's return drive to Seattle for our flight home today. Now, this is one up to the minute blog. I'm on the plane now and can't get you any closer to this minute now then I already have except to tell you that they only have pretzels on this flight and Beth and I are typing away. What's she typing? Email? Probably plotting against me. I have to go...

I really hope it is on the next cd.

I loved that song! When he played it for us, I got goosebumps! It is a "killer" song!

I think there were two threads going about the same topic, so you might have posted on the thread that was deleted.

Oh, gotcha. Too bad the moderator or Bob did not just merge the threads or move the posts. It seems nicer that way. I did not know there was two threads.

Click Admin Tab
Click Manage content in this thread from drop down menu
An Eve control panel page will pop up scroll down to search results
Check boxes of desired posts to be moved
Scroll down to Desired Action
Check move to
Highlight duplicate thread from drop down menu
Click Move Selected Messages
