I didn't see this in any other thread or in the faqs, but does Tyler smoke? (I know...completely and utterly random and none of my business) but I was just wondering.

DOes it really make a difference if he smokes or not? If he does smoke are you going to stop listening to him?? There are pictures of him smoking. Take it how you want. Maybe you should actually ask him. I don't see how knowing if he smokes is going to benefit you in the least. If he does smoke that's Tyler's choice. And if he doesn't then that's okay too. Just enjoy who he is.

I will always love Tyler regardless. I think the purpose of message boards is so you can ask about stuff you don't know....and sometimes us fans want to ask about something a little personal. It's really nothing to get in a tizzy over. I just wondered. I'm no teenie, and like I said, even if he did, I wouldn't care and stop liking him. I just was wondering is all.

Actually, I was wondering if he smoked myself. Mostly because when he was singing on Kiss my mom was like "He smokes!" I was just like "Heh?" She said something about his voice being raspy. I dunno. I wasn't really paying attention.

its not a matter of me liking or disliking him but from my own experience (my grandfather smoked)its just really bad for your health. its tyler's choice if he wants to smoke it doesnt change who he is or how great his music is. but at the begining of insomnia he says "...i miss the cigarettes..." so i wonder if he smoked and tried to quit. just a random thought.

I think his voice is just raspy anyways. But our beloved white trash queen Britney Spears one said she smokes now cause it makes her voice sound different and cool. I dunno though. It doesnt matter anyways.

I dont see how it is invading his privacy by asking if he smokes. i dont see why people are sticking up for him when no one was bashing it - saying its bad, etc. in the first place. they were just curious. i think of invasion of privacy as more of who he is dating, his phone number, his address (whenever he isnt touring, which seems like never), etc.

I know, right? I don't consider it personal either. And I looked at the FAQ and the update on whether he smokes seems really hostile to me. I was reading it like, "Woah, chill!" I mean, I can understand if people are always ragging on him about it and stuff, but this is the first post I've seen about him smoking/not smoking. Granted,according to the FAQ poster, there is an existing thread on this, but it's not like out in the open. I always look in the first 2 or 3 pages of threads, but I don't go hunting around. The point I'm trying to make here is that some of us "newbies" may not have seen that thread, so if someone asks, please don't act like we should already know this information. Thanks. that would be me... but frankly i dont care what you say about me cause most people know around here that i am not anything but hostile and they way i see it is just because we like someones music it does not give us the right to judge them on something so trivial as whether they smoke or not. it took me a VERY long time to do those FAQ's ... but i did them for newbies like yourself to try and stop continuous posts like this that have been appearing on the boards lately... sorry if you dont like what i say or my opinions but i cant help that |
