Recap anyone?

Flyers are good way to promote to promote. If you go to another concert, hand them out to people. If you go to the movies, talk to the people around you about CB and get them interested (if you are going to hand out flyers there, make sure you get permission from the theatre!!!). Make sure you mention the fabulous Tyler Hilton playing Murphy in the movie and get people to check out his website.

Bottom line: Flyers are probably the best and easiest way to promote.

Yup...that is pretty much everything we came up with! haha! I am going to hold off on an email for a bit and try to think of maybe a contest or something else...

Oh and by the way...I have been thinking about this and wanting to run it through everyone on here before I announce it officially...

What would you guys think of doing a points scale thing again like the E-team did a while back...like getting certain points for doing certain things...

I don't think it would be TOO much hard work to keep up since I already have everyone down on the roster....so let me know what you all think...

Then when Tyler comes to your town or we have a special prize to give away I could look at that and we don't always have to do the "pick out of a hat'' kind of deal

I think that's an awesome idea! Kind of like of CP's streat team is right? It sounds good to me. I love promoting and everything like that but it'll be even more fun if we sometimes get prizes and stuff for it

i think that's a good idea mandy! i used to love when tyler had the e-team..i knew about that way before the boards!

Honestly, I am happy just promoting to help out Tyler. I really don't need any points or prizes for it. I like the idea of contests better than the point system - just because it gives newcomers a fair chance to get things and just not people who have been around the longest. However, that's just me.

Oh we could still have contests and stuff, and they can just win more points for it or whatever and I would announce when there was a big prize to win before I picked a winner to give the newer people a chance to get more points.

Does that make better sense?

I just thought it would be a good way to get people to keep promoting even during times like this when there isn't a whole lot going on with tyler being in the studio and the movie being pushed back but we still need to get Tyler's name out...

Oh and also it could give a better clue as to what state has more active members to see if they need a subteam...cause that is pretty much why I put a hold on that for awhile since states would get enough fans in one area...but they would sign up and kind of forget about the team.

Just to let you know, Kansas is representing, but it doesn't show by the number of street team members. lol

I know in regards to the e-team, I joined in the last six months of it or so - I felt there wasn't even a chance to try and aim for the bigger points because of all the people who had been around since day one and really racked up the points. Some people really enjoying collecting points to aim for bigger prizes, but personally I think just plain old contests are more fun. Also, do we know for sure that the e-team won't be coming back in the future when the album is done? We don't want to run two teams that just copy each other - does that make sense?

I'm sure with some brainstorming we can come up with ways to keep Tyler's name out there - there are some pretty creative people on these boards!!!

I think running the E-Team would be a great idea! There are more than plenty of people who love promoting for Tyler and a few others who need that little motivation to promote their heart out. So I think possible incentives being offered would be wonderful to boost people's spirits in terms of promoting. In the end, as long as it gets Tyler's name out there (in a good way) then I'm game!
