To the smash and grabber who broke into my underground parking garage and stole the GPS out of my car: come on, man. To the manufacturer of my car: what happened to the alarm, dude? What a horrible inconvenience. But it's all been let go. No big deal. Fix the window, head to Cosco for another Magellan, and move on. I'm making records and planning tours. I'm moving and shaking and wigglin' and joltin'.

"TH Books For Kids" had it's first out of season event. A childhood friend spent Christmas with my family this year and after dinner we got to talking about the children's hospital she's been working for in Sacramento. She mentioned something about how they've been getting more kids from around the world that don't speak English and the lack of reading materials for these children. I told her about my charity and put her in touch with Dana, the resident saint of THBFK. Dana got working with a bunch of you and money started pouring in, as did books in English, Spanish, Russian, German, and Asian languages I can't even pronounce. We presented all the books on a new book cart and spent the day at the hospital hanging with some of the coolest and funniest kids I've ever met. What personalities! And so mature, while dealing with such hardships. There are things about life I hope to begin to understand at some point that these kids have square in their eyes. Right there, they know so much. Pictures and video will be on THBooksForKids.org very soon. You'll all be so happy you helped and were involved when you see how it went down. I wish everyone who helped and contributed could have been there.

Have you guys been checking out the weekly video updates on YouTube? Every Monday. My new album: myth or truth? Truth! The videos prove it.

And now let me finish my BLOG with what may very possibly be a singer/songwriter faux pas by saying that I am a huge John Mayer fan. I just am. Is it uncool to like someone doing well in your genre? iTunes will be sending me a hefty bill next week. Sure I own most of the albums but I've been moving and they're in boxes, so I just started downloading and went through some songs the other night and just thought, man, this guy is great. In my opinion with all the success, he is still underrated. For those of you who haven't really understood, give it a good chance. I'll check in with you guys soon...dig.
