We start today and are planning on working for the next 3 weeks or so on 6 new tunes. This will be it! No more recording to come after this. There is a light at the end of this long tunnel. Unfortunately, like some good things that come, they do so at a price. The price of this final hurrah will be having to cancel the tour with Better Then Ezra that I had planned starting on the 9th."

aww! That totally sucks! I was looking forward to seeing him again. well atleast he's finishing the album, at this point it is WAY important to get that thing finally finished!ha. Definitely glad I didn't buy the tickets yet for the va shows. Bummer.

Me too! Or a hotel room...Em and I were planning to go to the beach when we were in Norfolk. Oh well...saves me some $$$ so it's ok!

Yeah...I'm glad we didn't get tickets or a hotel. But I'm really bummed that I asked off for work already! I think I asked off for 3-4 days (to allow some travel time)! And work has already scheduled off that far in advance!! I hope someone wants to give up some hours!!

This sucks...I was planning on going to two of the shows. Glad I didn't get my tickets yet...

I'm sure Tyler and his management knew the wrath they would face once they delivered this news. However, think of how long all his fans have waited for his "coming soon" CD that has been exactly that (coming soon) for a few years now.

I think for him to have sacrificed those tour dates fully aware of the consequences means that he already calculated what was/is best for him. Though that may be different things for all of us, at least we can sort of find comfort in the fact that the CD is actually in its final stages.

We will keep our fingers crossed.

And hopefully by the end of this, everyone will be happy with new tour dates and a new CD. I'm rooting for the CD...

Yeah, thats the way I see it. I would rather have him finally finish the CD and have it out and get more tour dates promoting it, rather than doing the concerts and not getting the CD finished sooner.

I thought venues had to take your tickets back if the lineup changed...?

But yay for the new CD being almost done.

Well, at least I feel better about not being able to get off of work!
