At the Staten Island show in October, Tyler did a song that he wrote for a show. But he wouldn't tell us the name of the show just incase it bombed, he didn't wanna be embarassed. haha I remembering him saying it being about newylweds or something, so I've been watching previews to see if anything could be the show [but we also don't know if its airing this spring, fall or whatever so I don't know] Anywayy, I saw something for a show called "Rules of Engagment" with Oliver Hudson. Anyone think that might ne the show?
Just trying to figure it out.. haha |

Aww, now seriously that is a downer. That song was the epitome of a TV theme song! It's catchy and upbeat and the lyrics are corny like no other in a good way -- what's there not to like?! We'll hope for next time, Tyler! EDIT: "BIG DAY." I think this is the show that Tyler wrote the song for. I read the summary of it and it sounds exactly the way Tyler described it, haha. He wasn't exaggerating at all. One day really was morphed into a season-long sort of thing. But if anyone is interested, I found a site with more info. Big Day show. Apparently, it's still running. I'm gonna have to tune in to see an episode. -MK This message has been edited. Last edited by: MK, |

^^I tried to watch it once but couldn't get two minutes into it. Tyler wasn't kidding when he said it was awful!! You can go ahead and try it MK, but just be warned.....
I would've watched it too if The Perfect Life was the theme song. That would've totally saved it but now it just sucks. |

Aww, boo. That's kind of sad to hear. I would've watched it because I kinda like Marla Sokoloff (Gia from Full House, haha) and also to possibly hear Tyler's song. I guess I'll watch it if I happen to change the channel and the program is on. After all the terrible reviews, I don't think I'll go out of my way to catch a glimpse... -MK |

I have to admit that I have watched every episode of Big Day. The show isn't really that good but it does have some funny moments and it keeps you watching b/c you want to know what finally happens at the wedding. Based on the way they show is presented there really isn't time for a "theme song" so it is probably better that Tyler's song didn't get picked (even thought it fit the show perfectly). They don't have an intro for the show, they use the scenes from the last episode to show the credits.
I think that it would be perfect if they played Tyler's song during the wedding b/c it would totally fit but the show has taken a turn so there might not even be a wedding. Either way I am sure Mgmt. would of said something if it was going to be in the show at all. |
