I know this is an old topic, but oh well.. I started guitar lessons today! Wow, it was 10 million times harder then it looks, but so mich fun! I can't wait til I can play all the stuff you guys posted in this thread=)

"Goodbye To You" was one of my first songs, as well Along with "Building A Mystery" by Sarah McLachlan...which, now that I think about it, was actually a bit difficult for a beginning song. Oh well, I figured it out haha.

I learned "Knockin on heavens door" by Bob Dylan for my first song now looking back it's funny think it was ever hard for me to play....G,D,C...G,D,C....haha, pretty basic

hehe i just started playing about 2 weeks ago, wicked excited!!! I suck for now but i can play a rip from smoke on the water by Deep Purple, and Day Trippers by the Beatles...lol their both pretty easy, but that song looks great but intimidating

awesome stuff... if only i could play the gee-tar ... my hands r soo small that i cant even reach the top string so if i wanna play i have to play a lil kiddies one that 4 10yr olds

lol i have dificulty doing that and i cant get alot of chords cuz my fingers jsut dont spread enough lmao

Ohhh, I feel your pain. My hands are just BARELY bigger than those of the 7-year-old girl's that lives next door. My pointer finger is about the width of a fret. And I can stretch across three frets...if I'm lucky. As a guitar player, I'm pretty much screwed when it comes to getting any better than I am right now. It's physically impossible for me to do...well, pretty much everything Tyler (and most of the other amazing guitar guys) does on guitar. Booo.
