This isn't really our business to discuss, Tyler's private life is his private life. Your friend can still have a crush on Tyler, I don't see how that matters if the has a girlfriend or not. Unlike most celebrities and musicians whose personal business is known to the world, we respect Tyler's privacy.

Just tell your friend it's great she is a fan of Tyler and I think that's all that really matters.

yeah i dont think thats a very relevent question anyways..dont we like tyler for his music? and maybe his fab acting skills? not his good looks haha

Ahh, here we are again to a question that stirs up so many emotions. Sleepyhd9, I agree with what you say about his private life is his. However, we all know this question will come up time and time again. It isn't our business to discuss. Let's leave it at that. No need for drawn out explanations.

Sorry if this seems rude, in no way am I trying to be, it's just that I constantly see that whenever a question about Tyler's personal life comes up, some people tend to jump down the person's throat for asking.

I don't know. Facing this question for the umpteenth time is inevitable, esp. now that his fan base is growing quite large (and spreading into the younger audience...)

However, I still really don't think this is an appropriate topic, haha. Why, you ask? Because regardless of Tyler's status in the spotlight, apparently in his eyes, he isn't all that well known. He's semi-famous to an extent, but it's not as if he's in the immediate microscope of Hollywood where they photograph him constantly as he walks down a sidewalk, Starbucks coffee in hand... I'm sure we're familiar with that paparazzi picture, haha.

So I think out of respect for him, we feel the need to shield this stuff away because like he had mentioned in the interview, the majority of his "normal/daily" life isn't spent on stage -- he spends it off stage with family and friends doing whatever he pleases.

And considering most of us here feel like we know him on a personal level, I think we owe it to Tyler, as a "friend," to keep his private doings as is -- private.

It isn't a big deal to the majority, ergo the way the topic gradually subsided months ago... Look at it this way: Tyler will have a girlfriend whether the majority is pleased or not. Opinions stemming from THMB won't really factor into his decision either. So with that said, let it be. Like The Beatles.
