So I saw a question about the Street Team...so I thought now would be a good time to post this...

Some of you know this...but for those of you who don't:

A LONG time ago...before the E-team was even a thought...a girl named Jackie and an AWESOME idea to start a Street Team for a BRAND NEW artist named...TYLER HILTON!!! Anyways...she started it...and a lot of people joined...but then Jackie got really busy with college and most of the Street Team went on a sort of hiatus (besides the MA street team...which as you can tell rocks for keeping up with it by themselves )

So...a few weeks ago I got an email from Jackie asking me if I would like to take over the Street Team (or STeam) because unfortunately...she is just WAY to busy with college to keep up with it. I of COURSE agreed but also knew I would need a LOT of help cause it seems like a BIG job...SO I asked SARA to help me!!! So now...Sara and I are the leaders of the Street Team!!!

I am posting this because I know that there are a LOT of new people on this board now who might not of even known that Tyler had a STREET Team. This Team focuses more on face to face promotion (I guess you could say...). I personally love street teams because you get to meet with people face to face and you really get to stretch your creativity with ways to promote (like leaving little notes to your waiters/waitresses at restaurants...stuff like that) And there are NO points to worry about...

Sound good to any of you guys??? P.S: PLEASE do not ask to be the street team leader yet...it is kind of hard to be a leader for a state with no members!! So hopefully after we get a few more people to join...we will THEN figure out what will happen with leaders and stuff like that

The MA street team isn't going to be taken over or changed or anything, is it?

Megyn - The MA STeam is the only state team that, to my knowledge, is actually active AS a team (and not just as individual members). So that's going to stay exactly how it is. With the exception of MA, I don't think we are going to have individual state teams to begin with. Once we build up the team as a whole, we'll decide if we're going to assign "leaders" and such for states/areas.

So now I'm confused. The MA Street Team has a leader, and has been running strong under that regulator. Does this mean that once everyone else gets active, we'll have to conform until the rules/regs that you guys may decide to set up? Or can we remain just the way we are, leader and rules/regs and what not as it is right now..

Like Sara said...once we get enough people in every state, we will asign leaders again (cause ya have to admit...kinda pointless to have a leader with no members )

But MA will have a leader because there are so many members in MA...everything will stay the same for y'all

That sounds good! My only concern was losing Leeanne as the MA leader. She's been doing it since the beginning and she's great at it - plus she just got the MA ST site up and has been doing really well with it - I personally would like for her to stay as the MA leader.

And...I don't know if this was clear or not...right now the Street Team is basically just one big national street team (besides MA) and once we get more people to join...then we will kinda subdivide into states...(is subdivide even a word?? Well if not...I just made a new word )

That's incredibly confusing how the street team is one big nation wide thing right now. I guess as long as the word gets out and what not, it'll definitely break up into different states. Someone has to give MA a run for it's money, right? ;]

i've gotten several emails for the tickets! keep them coming!

i signed up for the street team message board - not much going on there though unless I'm just confused about it all

I haven't even been the leader for a week!! Patience!!! haha!!

First we gotta get all the members back and get some more new faces (which I think is around 20 in 6 days....) THEN we can get working

Right now...just go on the message board and find some peeps in your area and just talk and have some fun before we get to work
