soooooo. I made this thread on Ryan Cabrera's board a few months ago, and no one ever posted....but since you guys have WAY better taste in music, I figured I'd give it a shot.

ok...I've loved OLP for what feels like forever (I think i was born Canadian and somehow transported here against my will in the middle of the night and had my memory erased or something...haha). Anyway, here (in Buffalo) I can hear them on the radio all the time, as I only listen to Canadian stations anyways (Edge 102.1 and Mix 99.9). I know their singles "Made of Steel" and "Somewhere Out There" not only made it to the US, but did quite well.

So, in conclusion, any fans?

yeah theyre pretty cool. i really like their older stuff like 3AM and superman's dead. gosh i love the video for superman's dead. there's nothing like a 12 yr old ryan dennis dressing like a woman and putting on lipstick

lol about the canadian thing. likewise i listen to buffalo radio becuase they play more poppy stuff but im usually listening to the edge

if you ever come to toronto you should go to the studio its pretty cool and they usually have free stuff

haha...when I was like 10 my dad dragged me into the edge station...i was like "do i haaaaaaaave to?"...because those were like my backstreet boys days.

I love Toronto, I'm looking into Toronto University there because it's cheaper than ALL New York City schools, but I haven't really looked at it seriously academically, just atmosphere.

from what i know, U of T is a highly respected school here and the education is suposedly superb. one complaint i have heard is that there are too many students and people have said that making friends is hard. I have visited the campus and it is very beautiful though

"Healthy in Paranoid Times" came out on the 30th!

At first I didn't really like it, it was kind of boring, but I'd have to say its grown on me over the past few days...sometimes with OLP, their CDs can be a lot to digest in one day, it's just too much at once....anyway, did anyone else get the CD?
