She's opening for a show here on Saturday...and my boyfriend is playing for the other opener. He absolutely loves Billy Joel, so when I told him that he was playing a show with her daughter, he freaked. I've already warned him that if he leaves me for her, I'll hurt him very, very badly...




She looks just like her father - especially the eyes. The rest is alllll her mom haha.


Note to self: Wear a trampy outfit and push-up bra to the show so my man doesn't forget about me entirely.

I've heard lots of things about her. I checked her out, but she's not really my cup of tea.

I saw her last night. She...wasn't good. Her songs were good, but she wasn't. And no one was into her. And she could tell. I felt kind of bad for her...but at the same time, I didn't. She took WAY too long to do her soundcheck, so Kati (my friend who was opening for her) and her band (including my man!) couldn't do their soundcheck until after the doors had already opened. And apparently Alexa sounded absolutely horrible during her soundcheck.

Someone needs to tell her that she should NOT dance (and not tell everyone else to dance...because when no one does, she just looks stupid). And if she does feel the need to hold the mic, she should find something else to do with her left hand, other than the Alanis Morissette-esque limp-wrist thing:


And someone didn't tell her that, although a lot of 80s fashion has come back, high-waisted dark jeans (especially with no belt) have not.

Although this is supposed to be her "headlining tour" she performed second of three. Good thing too, because the show didn't start until 10, and if she wouldn't have started until midnight like the last band did (which a ton of people were there to see), I highly doubt many people would've stayed for more than a song or two of hers.

AND...one more thing haha. My friends and I honestly feel that the only reason we liked her songs is because she just re-wrote a ton of Billy Joel's songs (same piano chord progressions...but different lyrics).

Oh, and by the end of her set, I came to the conclusion that she sounded like Hilary Duff meets Alvin & The Chipmunks on crack.

embarassing maybe... but she is so uninteresting
