Hey guys! I was listening to my Teitur CD for the billionth time today, and I realized I hadn't posted about him on the mb yet. So, everyone needs to check him out. He's a really cool singer/songwriter from Denmark, who recently toured with John Mayer. www.teitur.com Enjoy!

John loves him and talks about him 24/7... and obviously that's good enough for me :-)

Yes, John is the greatest! Have you heard Teitur's CD? It's really awesome. I listened to it nonstop when I first got it. I still listen to it a lot. I can really relate to the songs. Especially "You're The Ocean" and "Shade of A Shadow".

I bought his CD last month. I was going through the CDs Circuit City had available for listening, and I fell in love with the melodies. He is really, really good. I don't know, to me, I find his CD beautiful. "Let's Go Dancing" is awesome. They're all good songs! I didn't even know he was on tour with Mayer, or that Mayer even liked him lol.

It's love,

I deserve it...

Hey gals, I went to the LA John Mayer show a couple months ago and was disappointed when i got there to find out that Maroon 5 would not be opening for him that night... but Teitur opened instead. And I totally fell in love with his music. I love his voice...it's just so innocent. I just bought his cd and it's not leaving my stereo for a long time!!!
Have any of you listened to Damien Rice... that is another awesome and unique cd that i have just discovered

Teitur is nothing short of amazing. I bought his CD and each and every song on it is amazing. I agree with you, Perfectly Failing, "lets go dancing" IS awesome. You all should check him out. I know that there was a link earlier to his .com site, but If you can't find the place to listen to him from there (which i couldnt find) you can go here and listen to 3 of his songs... http://www.universalmotown.com/jukeboxes/teitur/ . Hope you all enjoy him!!

Yep, he played at our small town trailhead as part of the "artists in the round" that traveled to 19 cities across the US back in late July. Too bad the Mayer show was in Houston the same night and I can't be in two cities 6 hours apart at the same time. I told all my friends to go though and find out what an amazing songwriter he truly is! His lyrics are just beautiful!

I've loved Teitur for a while now, but after seeing him live last night, I am dumbfounded by him talent. He has amazing range and he plays numerous instruments(as do all his bandmates). I highly suggest that everyone check him out and see him live if possible. BTW, Teitur is actually from the Faroe Islands.
I couldn't resist. Isn't he a cutie?
