Oh, in the back office at work we always have Cities97 playing. I went back there to ask my manager a question, and "Burning In The Sun" was playing. I'm like "Oh man...I love this song!!" He asked me who it was, and when I told him who it was and that I saw them in Texas, he's like "Cool...I really love this song!! These guys are great!" That made my day haha.

Blue Merle is going on the Rock Boat January 14-19, 2006. Josh Kelley, Aslyn, Ross Copperman, Glen Philips, and more will be on the cruise as well.

Ahhh The Rock Boat is heavenly. I'm trying to go on the January one w/ my sister. I'm still trying to see Blue Merle on the 7th w/ Kyle Riabko. woot.

I downloaded a few live tracks yesterday and I love these boys. I do understand the Coldplay comparison a lot better. At times I kinda felt like I was listening to Chris Martin. Now, only if they would come back to Texas...

Just a rather sad post...the boys have officially gone their own ways. Bluemerle.com is supposed to stay updated with what they are all doing (Luke's gotta solo project, Bulla's off with The Wreckers)...

All I can say...is no one asked if I was okay with this Wish I could've seen them live again, they were too good....

I was wondering what the deal was with them b/c I saw that Luke is doing a solo show here soon. Thanks for the update.
