just adding to the post above..23 year old had tumor that would require her to lose her hearing. the last song she played on her ipod going into surgery was matt nathanson's song 'all we are'. she got to see him in concert/meet him before she lost her hearing..she learned the words to the song in sign language..touching piece..

Wow...what a story! I can't even imagine going through that!!
