Mgmt posted about them a while back...but after doing a 16-hour-long photoshoot with them on Wednesday (daaang), and seeing them play on Thursday night, I figured they deserved their own thread.

You should definitely check them out and add them on MySpace. Their music is fabulous, and they are absolutely amazing guys. I met them for the first time the day of the shoot, and after hanging out with them for pretty much two days straight, I feel like I've known them all for years. They're shooting their next music video in two weeks, and they asked me to do production shots - so I'll be in Wisconsin (where they're shooting it) with them for three days. They asked me to design their new MySpace, as well I'm kind of in love with these boys.

Amy - I have a Canon Rebel XTi. Nothing fancy. But I just dropped a lot of money on lighting gear, and this was my second shoot using it...sooo exciting!! Photography is now my full-time job, and I couldn't be more happy

I just got the Canon Xsi and so far I'm loving it. I need to invest in some better lenses though...that's next on the list.

Sara, I've said this many many many times before....but i'll say it again (because it never hurts to hear it!)....your photos are amazing! The one in the field is gorgeous! Is it strange that I'm so excited for you to be doing this full time now? It is definitely what you need to be doing!


Now Amy.......if you only had the confidence in your stuff.......well, you know my "blah blah blah" speech already......

oh, and We The Living = Amazing!!!!

Thanks so so much, guys!! I truly appreciate all of the comments & compliments. And Emily - not strange at all for you to say that! Friends were telling me for quite a while that I should quit my "real" job and do this sort of stuff...and I'm so so so glad that I did! I'm also going to be touring with some bands this fall, I've been asked to record background vocals on a couple of albums, and I'm gonna start working on my own stuff soon. I'm so excited for life hahaha.
