Everytime I see the commercial for the 90s Rock CD collection I feel so OLD because I can remember, like, cringing at music from the 70s when I was younger (not now y'all) and I know there are some people who do that now. AND.. While the 90s have only been over for, like, four years- the music isn't played much anymore. So I feel like its getting to be some music that is going to be played on a mix station only.
And yeah- I just feel old. It could be because the hot waiters at TGIFriday's sang to me and my friend for our birthdays and we got called old. heh. Well in the song. Anyway.. I am all about older Goo Goo Dolls stuff and love Hootie and The Blowfish- listen to it all the time. You know you live in Texas when... you tan in the bed of a truck wearing jeans, boots, and a bra; you play chubby bunny in a truck at eighteen; you think boys in wranglers are hot; you plan on making a redneck swimming pool and swimming in it; you go camping and sleep on a tarp, not bothering to pitch a tent; you listen to songs like "Country By the Grace of God" on repeat; you'd rather live in the country than in the city; you will park a long ways away if it means your car/truck stays in the shade. |

I like closing time by Semisonic too, and Sublime and Oasis. I used to really love The Goo Goo Dolls, Hootie and the Blowfish, and The Wallflowers. The Wallflowers were my first concert!! Woot! Woot!

I am going to the hootie and the blowfish concert this weekend.. i am only 15 but i grew up listeing to them bcause my paretns are big fans i cant wait but i am really into that faze as well,, Matchbox 20,Old Counting Crows stuff is great as well

I used to love third eye blind too!!! Are you talking about The Buzz? It has like REM, Sublime, Eve 6, The Cranberries, Semisonic, The New Radicles, Third Eye Blind, etc... It is a really good cd! You should all go out and buy it. |

ok, some early 90's for ya...New Kids on the Block and Ace of Base. I had both of their cassette tapes... oh and does anyone remember chumbawamba. now those are some classics.
