Big News! The new John Mayer Trio is opening up for the Rolling Stones, and Local-83 is hearing it first. The Trio will only be playing select dates on the Stones upcoming fall tour. The Mayer Trio is officially confirmed for October 3 at the MCI Center in Washington, DC and October 10 at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, PA. We will keep you updated as more information is released.
Wow...I can't believe he will be opening for the Rolling Stones. That's awesome. They are playing at the UVA football stadium in Charlottesville, Va (about 30 minutes from me) in October. Wish I could go see them, but I'll be off at college and I'm sure the tickets will be wayyyyyyyy expensive. That'd be awesome to be able to see john mayer too though!
Yeah, this John Mayer trio has made me so unbelievably excited. Blues is where his heart is, I'm glad he's fully embracing it. It also makes up for his uh, not so good collaborations with Kanye.

I just have to say that John was awesome on Leno the other night! I have been a long time fan and I loved his tour last summer. My mom and I went together and John was incredible! Now my mom loves him as much as I do... Cant wait for his next album! anyone have a release date for that?
Just a heads up for all MAYER fans.. he will be goin on tour this summer.. starting August, it will be small club tours, and it's the John Mayer Trio Tour.. I cannot wait.. I need my Mayer shows...hehhehe!!!
John Mayer is on Sunday on Headline New's Soundcheck. His lyrics are so inspirational and I love his voice. I really hope he tours in the tri-state area soon my whole family adores him.
