hey all,

hope i don't hit anyone the wrong way with some new music advice...but this singer/songwriter from NYC, Alex Nackman impressed me quite a bit. I saw him in San Francisco last week and he was great. i definitely recommend checking him out. He just released a live EP (follow up to his debut release). the music is great and he's not too harsh on the eyes (what! I'm a girl!).

Alex has also opened for Norah Jones and Ari Hest.

hope you'll take a listen and post.

hey guys,

i thought someone would drop a post--a lot of views, but no posts. i actually first heard of Alex Nackman from someone on this board several months back...i am on AN's street team, so i apologize for my bias towards him, but i hope you'll check him out. If you like Tyler, Ben Folds, Mayer, Alex Nackman is right up there. I promise. he just released a new live EP "Stages" and his first CD "Good Impressions" was a best seller at Tower Records online (at least that's what it says online). you may really dig him. i hope so.

Alex Nackman has an interesting sound. I like his music alot. I can't wait for him to play some shows in New York and with him being from here, I'm sure that will be soon. I've only ever "met" him through email but he seems like a pretty nice guy. Smile
