Does anyone else listen to angry girl music?
'Cause I know I love Avril Lavigne, Veruca Salt, Ani DiFranco, the Cranberries, Garbage, FeFe Dobson, and a million other people. I listen to too much music.  You know you live in Texas when... you tan in the bed of a truck wearing jeans, boots, and a bra; you play chubby bunny in a truck at eighteen; you think boys in wranglers are hot; you plan on making a redneck swimming pool and swimming in it; you go camping and sleep on a tarp, not bothering to pitch a tent; you listen to songs like "Country By the Grace of God" on repeat; you'd rather live in the country than in the city; you will park a long ways away if it means your car/truck stays in the shade. |

Well i love Katy Rose, although shes not so much angry as she is depressed. I like Evanescence, which is fronted by a female so would most likely fall into the category, right?

What about happy girl music? Charlotte Martin is great, and she sells cute shirts that say "I'm Normal, Please Date Me!" Best of all-- She toured with my boy Sondre Lerche this month!

Charlotte is awesome. She's got a beautiful voice and such an odd, random, but intriguing personality. And I'm super bummed that I'm missing her and Sondre (who I also love)'s show at the Troubadour. |

I like happy girl music, too. I listen to Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson and Mandy Moore alot. Everyone makes fun of me for it but oh well!

Oh I know Charlotte's not like Britney. She is amazing, though; she reminds me of a younger Tori Amos. I am listening to "Something Like A Hero" right now, and she sounds so much like Tori Amos.
