What do you think of Britney's new quick release "Mona Lisa" and her soon to be new song "Do Something"...how's everyone taking to it?

Britney Spears has had her 15 minutes and then some IMO.

I heard the song too. Not too big a fan of it. Although..haha, I did like her song Toxic back in the day.

I actually like Britney. She doesn't have a great voice, but her music is fun to listen to, and she is an AMAZING dancer (which she does NOT get enough credit for.)

i'm not gonna lie i do like a bunch of her songs

i'm a huge Britney fan.. i love Do Somethin... Mona Lisa is okay though i hope it won't be the new single from the new album.

Mona Lisa is getting air play but she just shot a video for Do Something, so that looks like a new single.

well see "Do Somethin" is going to be a international single and it's for the Greatest Hit's album.

from what i've heard, "Mona Lisa" is a candidate to being the first single off her new album that is going to hit stores sometime this year.

I have more vocal ability in my left pinky than she has in her entire body.

And yes, she is gorgeous and an amazing dancer...but what does being a good dancer have to do with being a musician? EXACTLY.

I loved her first album...but, honestly, with each album she put out, she lost at least half an octave of her vocal range. She realized that she doesn't have to actually sing to keep her fame, and that pisses me off. She was awesome when she was on MMC...I miss those days haha.

As for "Mona Lisa" - when I first heard it I wanted to jump off a bridge into a steady flow of heavy traffic. Someone tell me...WHY AM I NOT FAMOUS?!?!?!?!

This point especially, and is true of several popular artists (not just Britney). If you are beautiful and can dance, you should model or dance...not waste the time, money and effort that could go into someone who actually is a talented musician.

I'm a fan, but I do agree with you guys. I like her MUSIC. She can't sing. At all. Her music is just fun to listen to, and gets me in a good mood.

And actually, she's really not that beautiful. Seen photos of her without makeup?

i think britney's little sister look so much like her...i hope she doesnt go into singing too...

I haven't heard anything from either of those songs but i hate her so much!!!

I don't really have a problem with her...but I don't get problems with people very easily...I haven't heard any of her new stuff....but I agree most of her stuff is just really fun to dance to...especially the older stuff...crank it up and grab the hairbrush baby

Britney is definitely my guilty pleasure. I have a girl crush haha. I listen to her music because it is fun, not because it is meaningful and/or beautiful. Her music always peps me up and makes me dance. My favorite t-shirt is still my Britney "Baby One More Time 1999" tour shirt...that's so worn out haha. Some of the stuff she does is so outrageous and tacky though...not cool.

Jamie Lynn sings the theme song for her show.. the song sucks almost as much as the show (which is quite possibly the worst show on TV)
