Hey Everyone. First off I hope y'all are having an awesome holiday season! In February I am planning to have a benefit concert to support my Student Ambassadors trip to Europe this summer. I was wondering if any of you knew artists that may be willing to perform for it. I have gotten in touch with a few people already but the "more famous" they are the more busy their schedule gets and it makes it hard to plan a date. So I was just curious if anyone had any ideas. Myspace is a good place to find artists in your area. You are able to check out their music and stuff first before you contact them. Good luck!

yeah myspace is definitely the way to go. that would be awesome to have someone play at your school. i really want to arrange something like that at my high school..

Oh yeah I know myspace is how I found all the musicians I listen to...I was just wondering if anyone knew specific artists. So far Jeremy Hopkins is set Jonah is a maybe and I was just looking for a few more. Thanks!

I think it is worth asking anyone you like, you never know what people will do for a benefit show. Just start asking around and I am sure you will find a lot of great musicians willing to play your show.
