Hey guys!

Soooo...my friend just broke up with her boyfriend of three years (eek!) and she asked me to put together a "Break-up CD" for her because she knows how much I am into music and is having a pretty hard time right now...

And I know you are all music lovers like me so I thought I would see if you guys had any suggestions Smile

I have the standard Kelly Clarkson and Alanis Morissette, and I think I am even going to add "Ain't a Thing" and "Tell Me I'm Wrong" (which soooo fits her situation perfectly....but my version is pretty crappy-so if anyone has a clear version-could you please let me know!)

Thanks for all you help guys! I thought this would be good as a separate thread because it seems to be break-up season right now, so maybe you all could use the suggestions too for other friends!

I have 2 good videos of Tell Me I'm wrong...I'm sure someone can rip the audio if you are interested (I might be able to, but sometimes my computer doesn't do it well...let me know though)

Also...have you listened to Amy Kuney's "Breaking Bad Habits"...that might be a good one.

The entire new maroon 5 album (It won't be soon before long) is basically about breakups but I'm not sure how appropriate they would be for her situation. Check it out, especially Better That We Break.

depends on what "mood" you want the CD to have.

Picture to Burn is more of a fun one
but then you have more melancholic songs.

I guess it's always good to put a fun, upbeat one to lift up her mood.

Yeah, she actually came over last night and we listened to some of the ones I had already

She did really like "Picture to Burn" and "There is More to Me Than You" by Jessica Andrews

Good suggestions though guys! Smile

And if you do have the audio Kate....I would love it !Big Grin
