Apparently an ex-teacher from my high school was just arrested for distributing cocaine to students. awesome.

Oh man that's just great and it makes you feel so secure about school systems...

I decided to take on another major today. I added philosophy as another degree.

One of my old teachers was arrested for malesting a kid... now that was disturbing. He was always creepy

It's been cold and rainy here lately, lame!!

When I was a senior a teacher got arrested for agreeing to meet up with a 13 year old girl to have sex. I never knew the teacher he was new that year, but he was next to my government class. And apparently that was the 3rd faculty member within 10 years to be let go due to sexually inappropriate behavior.

I keep oversleeping my classes! Well...not really oversleeping, but waking up like 10 minutes before I have to be out the door. Not good.

all of my friends have left for school and i don't start till the 22nd so I'm bored out of my mind!

I bought a new camera lens today and I'm sooo excited about it! I got it for a great deal (used) from this older man in Blacksburg who had some luck in buying a different lens and wanted to give someone else a good deal on this lens. I got it for about $700 cheaper than it should have cost!

im starting to wish i got a PC instead of a mac. it seems like every class i take the software i need to use to hand in homework online is not compatible with mac..it sucks!!

there's this thing you can buy, parallel desktops or something, that lets you run windows programs on a mac. it's very very helpful


i am so so so stressed out and school hasn't even started yet! i have so much summer homework to finish and I had no time this summer because I've been doing an internship everyday. AP work sucks bad.

yeah but i feel like ive already spent a ton of money on this thing buying all this software and stuff. and i cant afford it anymore! i definitely dont think it was worth all the money. and the keyboard cracked, its not a big deal but still. the screen is also falling apart its weird. its missing random little pieces..

Lindsey there is bootcamp, which is free. It's probably on your mac already somewhere. Anyway if you have access to a windows installation CD all you have to do is install it onto bootcamp. The other thing is some professors might know alternatives they can use when it comes to OS operating systems or you can do some of your homework on a school computer for some homework.

Also is your computer still under warranty? You might want to take your computer into a store. Because that's really weird it's falling apart. It might be a defective model. I've had mine for two years and I haven't had anything like that happen.

My cousin just got into Oxford, which makes me feel like I should probablyyyy suck it up and just go back to school. Booo.

i can't use bootcamp because you need version 10.5 or later and i have 10.4.11...and my computer is still under warranty and i think im gonna take it to the apple store this weekend. it seems like ive had so many problems, including my hard drive dying and ive had it for a year...

i HATEEE my job! i didn't mind it until the past month before i was transferred to our other location b/c i loved the people i worked with. not so much this time. i took two weeks vacation and just went back tuesday. i'm working tonight and tomorrow i was suppose to work 4-8, then it was changed to 12-8 and now they want me to work 10-8pm. the store is only open 930-8pm on saturdays which means i'll be working 10hrs, practially open to close. grrr.

the best part is, this store is probably closing too by the end of december. i wish i could just quit now and start looking for a new job at an accounting firm since that is what i'm going to school for. better yet i wish i didn't have to work till after i graduated so i can enjoy this time, but that's asking for too much when i have bills and car payments to make.

well, i'm starting to paint on one.....so today I sanded off the finish on it and painted it with primer. I'm drawing the design on it tonight and tomorrow I start painting!!! I'm so excited!
