I know there are a few people on this site that are interested in art, especially Amy and Emily. So if anyone is interested in a site to share their art (all art forms) or just see what other people have created please visit www.jitzul.com . We are getting ready to launch an interview feature that will feature authors, musicians, photographers, etc. so if you know anyone that would be interested you can send them our way.
That's a really a cool site, it's definitely a site I could see myself visiting often. I love to see what other artists do. One of my professors had us keep an art journal, where we look at other arts and see how it affects us and our art--and it was so much fun for me. So it's really cool to see other art sites that I can look at.
Is the site going to include resources that could help artists and art major? Like art suppliers, articles, galleries, etc.?

This website is fairly new but we are constantly making changes based on member suggestions.
What kind of artists are you? We have a lot of information right now dealing with photoshop, tutorials and such. We aren't trying to focus on one particular type of art and instead trying to keep the site open for all artists, but we never how the site could evolve in the future.
The art journal idea is terrific. I am sure other artists on jitzul would be interested in the methods that you use.
That is right up our alley! The creater of our site writes all the site code and is in the process of teaching an HTML class if you are interested. I would love to see some of your photos.
We have a bunch more interviews posted with some great artists. The People's Party are the lastest interview. They are such a unique group of musicians, be sure to check them out.
If there are any specific interviews you guys would like to see let us know!
i am getting ready to start two really awesome art projects that i'm really excited about! the first is (hopefully) going to be a series of works where I paint on guitars! Very excited! I have my first guitar to paint on (an old peavey electric) and I can't wait to start! The second project that I've already started is painting on furniture....I am painting a nightstand with a trompe l'eoil effect on it......hopefully it will turn out the way i envision it! haha!
