a friend of mine found this link from someone and it's lo's online pics.

some of the cast from laguna is in there and their names are all different. lc is really kaley, lo is rayne, deter is marc, and morgan is chris (i'm guessing short for chritina or something). kind of weird. check it out and see what you think...

haha...the funny thing is it was SOOOO obvious the show was scripted when it started, but we all became really jaded and just so into it that we learned to look past how fake it is. I don't think that web shots thing is real, only because a while ago i checked imdb, so I'm pretty sure that their names on the show are their actual names...plus there are a few yearbook pictures around some places...but then again, who knows with tv...
however, the show is undoubtedly scripted, it's edited, and I would have to assume the producers push them to do certain things they wouldn't otherwise do unless someone told them it would somehow make them more famous, ya know?

I think that's the only one where at least one persons name is the same as on the show (Alex).

I noticed that Lo (or w/e her name is) really thinks she's hot stuffff.

I don't think that webshots account is real. There are a lot of myspace, livejournal, xanga, etc accounts that claim to be authored by Laguna Beach cast members, but they really aren't. (Because apparently the thing to do now is pretend you're a D-list celebrity...)

But I do agree, the show definitely has a fake quality about it.

My friend went to the same college in San Francisco as LC and lived in her dorm, so I think the people are real, but I agree that the show is scripted and that the producers create all the drama. Whatever...it makes good tv.

yeahh, I'm not gonna lie. I watch it when I have a chance, but I'm not obsessed and counting down the day 'till it would come back one (like my friends did??)

I love that show and on a Laguna mb they say what u posted is fake.

I don't know what is what. It's so weird because my friend found "Laguna cast members'" Xanga's the other day and showed me and a lot of those pictures can be found on those too. The pics can throw some people off because most people have never seen those pics before and they can think "hey maybe it is them" So who knows....

This girl I know claims she goes to the same college as Stephen and has a class with him but so far she has yet to prove if it's really him or not. Just a bunch of talk

thats funny - they are 'real' people - as far as their bubble of the oc goes - my friend had a conversation with deter about how he pledged a frat at USD (I think??) and didn't get in it...and then kristin and talan were at the huntington beach teen vogue thing .... unless they are suppose to ALWAYS be in "charecter" - it is (a pathetic excuse for a depiction of) The Real OC (if you want 'realistic' with some drama just watch THE OC - at least the show the ghetto parts too....

Yeah that isn't Lo's, some weirdo just made it. But I personally dont think that the show is fake.. I dont even think a lot of the conversations they have are that interesting, yet its still addictive to watch. I do think that the one thing thats fake about it though is that sometimes the producers push them to do some things and stuff, but its like that on all reality shows.

and there is a little note at the beginning saying its real lives and true. so i'm guessing they can't fake anything if they have that at the beginning. that would be false advertising.

yeah i think its real..i think the webshots account is fake though..b/c under like college memories or something like that...some of those pics are from the mtv site..so someone just has a lot of time on their hands..and no life! haha but i think i remember Kristin saying onetime when she was on trl, that its all real, except sometimes, something will happen, and the lighting or audio or something wasn't right, so they have to do it over again, so it doesnt seem as natural
