This board is lacking a movies thread...so what are your guys' favorite movies?

I have this large obsession with anything and everything Tim Burton, with Edward Scissorhands and Ed Wood at the top of my list; and like half the population, I love all those fabulous 80s teen flicks.

I also love Rushmore (Wes Anderson is fabulous), Amelie, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

NEWSIES!!! (Tyler or Curtis, I'll give you a dollar if you sing a Newsies song of your choice at an LA show I'm at. Wait, make that 2 dollars)

And last but not least, I'm a sucker for cheesy 90s kids films. 3 Ninjas, Mighty Ducks, Surf Ninjas, etc.

You know you live in Texas when...
you tan in the bed of a truck wearing jeans, boots, and a bra; you play chubby bunny in a truck at eighteen; you think boys in wranglers are hot; you plan on making a redneck swimming pool and swimming in it; you go camping and sleep on a tarp, not bothering to pitch a tent; you listen to songs like "Country By the Grace of God" on repeat; you'd rather live in the country than in the city; you will park a long ways away if it means your car/truck stays in the shade.

I am a HUGE Britney Spears fan. Like I love the girl. Everyone makes fun of me for it, but I don't give a rat's ass. I think she's cool.

A bunch of the girls on my floor last year loved her, too. We'd watch the Britney Spears specials together cause we were just oh-so-cool like that.

Can't lie...I literally watched Dirty Dancing EVERY SINGLE DAY from when I got it on video when I was 3 until I started kindergarten when I was 6. Even then, I would watch it at any chance possible. It's been viewed in this household so many times, in fact, I've gone through 3 different tapes of it. Each stopped playing after a while because it was put in the VCR too many times...(Now I've got the Ultimate Edition DVD...it rocks man Razz)

But Almost Famous is another one on my top list- I could never watch that movie too many times...

I really don't like the Shrek movies. I couldn't sit through the first one, turned it off after like 10 mins. I'm sure I wouldnt be able to last through the second one either. I don't like the Lord of the Ring movies either... I don't know why.

please dont yell at me because i dont like these movies... its just my opinion!
