ok so after being a faithful watcher of The Real World since Vegas, and watching all of the challanges since then, including the inferno 2, and now that the new season in Austin is coming up... im completly obsessed. im so determined to be on this show one day. im gonna buy the books to find out how to get on. haha. i keep telling my mom and my friends that ill be on it and they just laugh and tell me they can see me on it. the only thing is... im not 18, soo i have 11 months to think of a good tape to send in. but seriously u guys will see me on season 18 or 19.... I PROMISE! hahahahhahahah wow im such a dork, but i KNOW im not the only one who wants to be on the real world, or road rules....

i remember the vegas season! that was the first one i watched!

I started watching hardcore during the Boston season, and since then have seen every episode of each season and each challenge...I don't know why, but yes I'm obsessed too. I have all the books and videos and stuff, it's really out of hand. And yes I too secretly wish and hope that one day I can be on the Real World

I sent a tape in for this season, when's the whole one hour casting special thing on? Or do they even have those anymore? I doubt they'd have to tell me if they used my vid for the lil clips part so I'm interested in seeing, and seein' who's punk ass beat me in it...

They had a casting special thing Monday night after The Inferno II. They had past RW cast members watch videos of the Austin cast and then talk about it. It didn't show any other videos of people that didn't make it though.

You have to be 18 to apply for the Real World. I remember the first season I was watched was either Boston or Seattle. I've always been parital to Road Rules, but I could never do half the stuff they do.

yah my friends say they would rather be on road rules, but i would so much rather hang out and stay in one job and all that fun real world stuff. they are doing open casting calls for season 17 right now. im pissed cuz i just turned 17 so i cant try out till season 18 or 19. which sucks, but it gives me time to think about what i would say and stuff.

Boston was one of the first ones I watched too. It's still my favorite. I loved Elka. I also liked the one where the cast member was a race car driver looking for a sponsor. I don't watch much anymore. When I was in high school I *really* wanted to be on the Real World; I'm way too private a person for it now.

The guy from the latest Paris season who's from Georgia (Ace?) is from a town that's an hour and a half from me. There was a big write-up in the paper when he was casted.

New Orleans remains the best season.

Are they even doing Road Rules anymore? They haven't had any on since the one Derrick, Jodi and all those Tina (was she the one with Derrick and them?) were on it. I've liked both shows even though most of the time I say I won't watch a show but I end up watching it anyway. I'm weird

I don't think there was a Tina the last Road Rules season. I think more planning and stuff has to go into Road Rules and stuff. I'd love to see another season.

I frequently check out this site called the Real World/Road Rules Blog which has various weekly updates about anything and everything RW/RR related. They are a very reliable source, and this is what they posted about RR:

Road Rules has been put on hold for now. I never really WATCHED WATCHED the show *like when and epi comes on for the first time* but it was always something I've watched catching on it the weekends, watching 6 epis in a row

Everyone's saying "I started watching This season" etc. I started watching, the FIRST NYC season (aka the first season) damn I'm gettin' old

Tina was with Derrick and Jodi. She came in to replace someone in the middle of the season.

My favorite season was San Deigo, and I didn't even really like the Philly one - I really only liked Landon :-x!! I am determined to get on that show as well. I'm going to try and film a tape and everything, I'll be seeing you on season 18 ;]

HAHA that show kills me its a good time! lol it shouldnt be called REAL world though its SOO fake but o well its good entertainment sometimes!

my favorite season was london.. i love simon! i have always wanted to be on the real world but i wont be 18 untill march.. maybe ill send in a tape then haah and ill be on season 18 with you
