Since American Idol will be over by tomorrow night I figured I'd start a thread now. lol..

So who do you think will win this season or who do you want to win.. I'm rooting for Taylor!

I haven't watched it at all. Only the auditions. So.. Um.. I'll go for the girl. Taylor bothers me for some reason...but I actually haven't watched and "got to know him" so my vote doesn't count. ?

I WAS rooting for Katherine, but something after her last few performances made me convert to Taylor's side. I don't know. Sad to say but she somewhat got annoying (sorry for you Katherine fans!) for me... I can't explain it.

I used to be a Katherine fan because her voice is really great, but yeah. I like Taylor. He seems like a nice humble guy and his voice is just amazing. Plus, his gray hair is pretty rock star, you gotta admit.

I like them both, but I think Katherine looks like the American Idol, but I agree she has not been doing the best, And Tylor does have an amazing voice.

I don't really think that America should pick someone based on their looks (though I know that it does play a role in their vote) because look at what happened to Clay and Ruben. I guess Clay didn't win because he didn't look the part, but I think he has had way more success than Ruben. Yeah, it's obvious who I was rooting for that year, haha.

I'm still Aiken for some Clay. :P

As for now...I am still pretty upset that Chris and Elliot are gone, because I don't really want Katherine or Taylor to win. But, I'm gonna have to go with Katherine I guess...

I just got home and the 1st thing I saw on AI was the whole Clay Aiken thing. hahahaha lmao that was creepy and hilarious.

The show has been pretty good so far. I don't really like the whole award thing, but the guest appearances have been really good!

I never thought I would say this.. but Clay looked pretty sexy! lol I like his hair! It was so funny how that other dude freaked out, I was laughing my ass off! That was cool though

I thought Taylor was good...but nowhere near as good as Chris or Elliott. True, Kat didn't do too well last night, but the thing about her is...she is such a versatile artist. She can sing fun and upbeat songs, she can belt out ballads. She could do pop, r&b, blues, classical, or country, and could record an incredible album in any of those genres. Taylor is so one-dimensional. He is amazing at what he does, but he can't do anything outside of his one certain style. And he cannot, for the life of him, sing ballads. The song written for him? That first verse was absolutely awful because it was really slow and kind of low. He cannot sustain notes, nor can he do runs in his lower range. Kat's song was bad too, but I think it was mainly because of the key - WAY too low for her. But lucky for Taylor, he only had one low verse, where Kat had two low verses that she had to make her way through.

Based only upon last night, I think Taylor should have won. Based upon all of the performances tonight, Kat definitely should have won. Actually, based upon tonight, I still think Chris should have won. But of the two, it should have been Kat (based upon tonight).

This season had so much talent though, and I'm glad my favorites didn't win - because some were so amazing that they'll be getting offers from multiple labels, and will be able to choose the one that will work hard to get the artist where they want to be, without compromising themselves (as they would have had to, if they had won AI).

That's exactly what I thought.

I really think Taylor needs American Idol to become successful (if that will help...). I don't think he would go very far on his own. I think Katharine has a better shot at making it without American Idol backing her. Same with Chris...I actually think it opened up a lot of opportunities for him (not to mention, a lot of people were talking about him when he got kicked off, whiched helped him) since he got booted so early.

I was glad taylor won and the finale was probaly the best finale far as the show and not the winner

It's backkkkk for season 6! I love watching the auditions! Some of them are so funny! I would never be able to keep a straight face.
