Anyone read any of the Gossip Girls? Man are they addicting! LOL! I just starting reading them monday and I finished one in two days! LOL! Right now I am on the third one! LOL! Anyone else?

I have never read those books, but they are going to do a movie of them and Hilary Burton from OTH is going to be in it.

I heard that too but when I checked back on IMDB.com it wasn't on Hilary's movies any more....I have a feeling it didn't get picked up! I was looking forward to that too!

My name is Rebecca, and I am addicted to Gossip Girl books. I want the next one to come out!! I got the first book when it was new and I actually didn't get into it until I bought the 2nd book, so I figured I should finish the first one. Don't ask me why I bought the second book when I wasn't into the first yet...I did the same thing w/ the Harry Potter books.

I love those books, I own them all and have read them all a couple times. They're so good, I hope the movie is good.

i only read the first one..i really need to get the next one soon though

The Gossip Girl series is nothing like The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants series. They're both addicting, but the stories are nothing alike.

Ohhhhh man...i love those books!

As far as the movie goes, they've had some casting problems it seems like...it's switched up so much. (also...i can't really see Hilary as Serena, but that's just me...)

The director of Cruel Intentions I'm pretty sure was up to direct it, but I think that may have fallen through, so I think the whole thing is in limbo right now.

same here...when i think of Serena i don't picture Hilarie...i was thinking maybe Rachel McAdams, haha

I agree. Hilarie doesn't seem "naughty" enough...and also, she's too old for that part. The characters are the same age as the OTH people, but they are so obviously older than their characters too. I don't watch the OC, but something I like about it is that Mischa LOOKS like she could really be that character.

yeah,I don't watch the OC, but Mischa would definitely fit the part.


She can really play the sophisticated type of character, but also can play the bitch when necessary.

Yeah, I think Mischa would be great as Blair.

Lindsay Lohan was supposed to be in the movie to but I don't know what happened to it since it's not on her imdb
