So, today, I find out from my friend, Jenna that last night by her house there was a car accident. The driver was drunk and I think that everybody else in the car was, too. They ran into a tree. Zach and Keith both died today. Kevin (he is in my grade) has a broken back. And the other boy, Matt(who is also in my grade), is in a coma. (Since most of you don't know, I'm a sophomore)

It's really sad, but it is the affect of drunk driving. I'm in utter SHOCK right now because I knew Zach. He ate 2nd lunch (and so do I) and I just saw him on FRIDAY. Last year, I had GP Lit & Comp. with him. I remember doing a project and I picked to do a song by `Mase`. Zach couldn't remember my name (either that or didn't WANT to remember it..?) so he called my Mase. My whole little `group` in GP Lit ended up calling me Jimmy Mase because I wore a jacket w/ my brothers name on it one day...

It's so surreal because I remember when a boy in my grade and a junior last summer died within a week of one another. It was shocking, but I didn't really know them. To actually KNOW one of the boys that DIED is just unbelievable...

That's horrible =( People really need to learn the effects of driving under the influence of alcohol..it never ends in a good way and I'm sry to hear about this =( IT must be incredibly rough..

our town + my grade infact have had a couple kids die but not because of that...but still I understand how it feels

Thanks! Yeah, I think that those 2 might've survived and the rest of them not be as badly injured if they wore seatbelts because NONE of them wore seatbelts...


Last summer, before I was in 9th grade, one boy in my grade and another boy that was going to be a senior killed themselves a week apart. That was pretty hard, but I didn't know them very well. The fact that I KNEW this boy and had a class with them is just unbelievable. woo.

aw im really sorry to hear about this something like this happened in my town a year ago and its rare things happen here because its so small - but a girl and her father died because a huge truck crashed into them and the driver was drunk - it was really sad because the girl was only my brothers age (11)

today was pretty rough for the school because everybody heard about it. they made the hr teachers read an announcement. My hr teacher actually started crying ... He has like 7 brothers&sisters and a couple of them go to westminster and she had them. it's so sad so many people were crying today. there was a group in the lobby and the one girl was like yelling `its not fair, its not fair` man, it's hardd!

yeah I remember in 8th grade on literally the 3rd day of school, well over the weekend a fellow classmate was in a dirtbike accident and she went in for surgery on her brain but she didn't make it..anyway my point was that when they were talking about it my teacher was crying too, I'm surprised I didn't

i totally know what you're going through right now. our school lost someone last year because of a hit and run. we still haven't found his killer yet. another one of my friends died over the summer because of a sudden brain aneurysm. she died 2 days before her birthday. it's been so tough going back to school and just knowing i won't see her again. i'm sure your school will do some memorial service. go to that and maybe you'll feel better.

Awe .. they're having a viewing tonight from 5-6 and from 7-9 but I won't be able to make either of them, I'm mad about that ... They said his thing wouldn't even be open casket because he flew 45 feet when they hit and obviously, what the make-up people do probably can't help that cause I heard that he was really ... messed up. Dude, I'm such a mess right now, I feel dumb for being this way.

it's okay that's normal...I remember when I found out the girl in my grade died I felt a combination of sick and couldn't believe it..shock
