i have a canon powershot s1 ls 10x optical zoom (which now can zoom up to 30x? its weird)

Oh kewl! I have the Sony Cybershot but your pics just look really really better than mine for some reason..haha!

Do you play around with your settings at all?

No very often the way I should...when I take pics I'm usually tipsy and yell out "Girl Pic!! C'mon Yall!!!! Wooo!!!"

Ha Ha...but I bet i should mess around with it more. Any tips on how you get your pics so clear and good??

well i'm always trying to take better pics, but sometimes mine do come out pretty good - i usually take concert photos on the "action" setting .. it looks like someone running. That usually works out really well for me. And anything outside I use the one that looks like a mountain - I actually end up using the action shot for a lot of things too.

Also something cool if you wanna try - when takin pics of your friends cover the flash a little it gives it a reddish tint .. it looks cool on some pics. I have a friend who has really blonde hair and fair skin so the flash makes her look white .. so another friend put her finger over the flash and the pics came out pretty cool.

Me too - I actually was never really into that much until recently .. I mean I've had the camera for a couple years and I'm just starting to take advantage of it and experiment with it.
