This seems very promising... two concerts in two midwestern states. It seems like a mini concert tour may be in the works...

Mgmt updated his post in the "Official" section on February 27...which was this past Tuesday I think...

In the next few weeks Tyler will be heading to Nashville to record the next album. It has been a slow process in organizing the start of this project but we are confident that the outcome is going to be worth the wait and that Nashville is the perfect location to record based on the sound of Tyler's music.

After the completion of the studio work Tyler will be back on the road touring, hopefully everywhere so we can see each and every one of you at a show.

Stay tuned and we'll try to keep you more updated on the process.

That would be really awesome, but since the states are 1000 miles apart I wouldn't get my hopes too high yet haha

No tour YET. Just a few one-offs during the recording process. The possible show near Minneapolis would be full band.

aww i kinda wish it would snow sometimes here in CA...only sometimes.

for outside shows in MN, do they perform in all weather...in reasonable conditions? so like if it started snowing, would the show still go on? im curious...

Minnesota rarely does outdoor concerts outside of May-September. And for the most part, only in June & July (that I can think of). As far as weather goes...if it's really bad, I'm sure shows are cancelled.

Right now we're getting a ton of snow. We had over a foot last weekend, and we've had at least 10 inches so far today. I really hope it either quits snowing now, or snows a looot more overnight...because I want state offices to be closed tomorrow so I don't have to attempt to drive to work (which takes half an hour on a nice day with NO traffic...typically 45 minutes to an hour during rush hour)! Most schools are already cancelled, but the chances of closing state offices...yeah, probably not.
