i feel kinda dumb getting to the bitter end super early..but i guess ill get there around 8..

BTW, I've never been to The Bitter End - is it small inside? Do you think they will really turn people away? And does anyone know if there will be a meet & greet?

it is SO small..i'm sure they will turn people away, i mean they have to..everyone can't fit in there..i wonder if they turned people away for curtis in feb when he had a really long line..?

yeah they did i think..cause the line was still around the block when we got in..and we couldnt even move once we got inside then haha and remember that group of people we talked to on the corner? they were saying how they were going to the BE to see like someones brother and they were waiting until later to go inside cause they already packed it over capacity hahaha

So I wonder if they will let us in if we show up at like 7 or something...hmmm...also, do they allow cameras? I figure they probably do but i thought I'd ask just to be safe.

someone called and they said that there was a show before hand and that they were going to clear everyone out...usually people just come and go at the BE and you just kinda pay for whoevers first..but since this is gonna be a big show i guess theyre expecting it..so theyll probably just open doors at like 9 or 9:15 or something...and they get mean when you stand around early hahah

like hmm 2 years ago when i saw curtis and tyler there i got there at like 530 so that we could go out to eat before hand and i paused for seriously like 1 second and was just reading all the flyers on the outside and the guy came out and was like WERE NOT OPEN YET. lol and i was like..hmm ok. and they started letting people in at like 715 for a 730 show..soo yeah i dunno how this shows gonna be hahaha

do u think they are going to sell out? ugh i really hope not since i cant get there until later hopefully 830ish....i kno they usually have tables out...do u think they will just take them away and make it a standing concert?

haha yeah actually i feel like were all getting carried away with this sell out business..what if we get there and its only like us? HAHA then that would be no fun! i've been asking my friends to go so hopefully ill have a few newbies with me! =)

Well, if that may be the case then I don't really blame them. I know some people don't think there is such a thing when you "over promote" a show, but then in if this venue is particularly small then I think it is appropriate. Considering how big Tyler's fan base has been growing consistently within time, I think it's almost always a given for his name to pack a house (esp. if it's a cozy little place!)

There was a show down here in SD late last year which featured Ernie Halter and Jason Mraz. But the thing was, so many people promoted for the show that they underestimated how well they did and kept promoting to e v e r y o n e. The place had to turn away over 150 people who waited in line (it was general admission.)

If The Bitter End is as small as Twiggs in San Diego, then I don't know. I guess it just depends how many people they'll admit in. It would be a sad thing if sooo many Tyler fans would be turned away because of the maximum amount of people allowed in the venue. Even though they would cram all that they could, there are health/fire codes that need to be kept in mind by the venue, I presume.

Just thought I'd chip in my two cents. Do what is necessary. Keep up with the promo. Good job to all!

I wouldnt mind meeting up with people but I won't be arrive in NYC till probably 3-4 pm

^^ I agree with MK 100%...why promote like crazy when that would decrease your chances of getting in and spending more time w/ tyler? I think it would be a lot more fun to have a small concert...& who knows how many of these small events hes going to have...so take advantage of it while you can...thats just my opinion
