Tyler and Curty pics!Anyways...here's a little review.
My Mom and I got to the show at 6:00..we went through backstage...not a lot of people were there yet..we were suppose to be selling merch for Joe and Tony but the kids at the college(that's where the show was at)said they were gonna do it instead..so we let them..*lol*
My friend Casey and a few of my other girls from Tulsa kept texting me saying they were on their way..they got there real fast..basically doing 80 the whole way from Tulsa to Searcy..*lol*..that's true dedication!
Anyways..they let everyone in around 7:00...I was trying to find Bob so I could show him the street team magnets I made to pass out..but I found out that Tyler and the crew were going to be late b/c of their horrible flight(I'll explain more later..actually Tyler will).
So...promptly at 7:30 Curtis opened the show. He was soooo amazing!! I love Curty P more than ever now..he just blew me away and I seriously can't wait to see him again. Sadly he only did a handful of songs..I wanted more! But I won't be selfish.. :P Casey and the Tulsa girls made it for the end of his set when he was doing the cover of "Stand By Me"..it was beautiful..
(OH and did I mention we were front row..heck yeah baby!)
After Curty P's set...I went to the lobby and hung out with him and the Tulsa girls for a little bit..we talked for a long time and he gave me the BIGGEST hugs..I didn't think at one point he was gonna let go..hehehe...he was so much fun to be around. We got some pics taken and then it was time to go watch Joe Firstman and Tony Lucca...THEY WERE AWESOME!!! Tony and Joe are amazing together...I loved them! Joe was so funny...he made alot of jokes about the college, the town, Arkansas, and just everything in general..*lol* Tony was brillant on the guitar!
There was only a 15 minute intermission before Tyler came out. When Tyler came on stage everyone cheered so loud..I was so happy for him!
He looked happy too! He even told us that this was the best crowd on the tour..and everyone in the band nodded...he said "it wasn't just a band cliche thing to say...there's more cliche things to say..*put rock hand up* SEARCY YOU ROCK YEAH!" Haha it was so funny..one of those you had to be there things I guess..anyhow..he did alot of songs from the Tracks OF and he did "Missing You"...oh he also did "Alright Mama" like he did in "Walk the Line"(he played Elvis for ones who don't know). Here's some other random Tyler tidbits...he explained to everyone that he just arrived to the venue..he seriously just got there 5 minutes before he went on stage. He apologized for his shirt being wrinkly..saying "You might be thinking..wow this guy can really sing..but I'm not so sure about his looks..." Everyone was dying and almost falling over laughing..he was very comical all night. He started to talk about his plane having bad landing gear and how they went on and landed...then they drove the rest of the way to Searcy. It was so cute how he explained it all. He ended the show with "How Love Should Be" and everyone was dancing and rockin' out!
Oh Slim apparently told the whole band while they were driving to Searcy "if we have to kill a few cows for some rock then so be it!" Tyler told us that one...he kept saying through the whole show though that Slim really does love cows and all animals. The whole show felt like 5 minutes..just amazing...if I think of more things I'll post them later.
After the show...I talked to Curtis some more and met Tyler. Tyler was signing one of his tank tops for me and asked how I spelled my name...he goes "is it K-R-I-S-T-Y?" I nearly died..I go "How did you know that?" and he goes "My Mom spells her name the same way!" I thought that was so cute. We talked about the street team and the magnets..said he would put one on his fridge at his apartment and then he actually put one in his pocket..I thought that was cute too. He was just full of cuteness(is that a word..haha. After awhile it seemed like everyone was gone..and it was just me and my Mom, the Tulsa girls, a few band members, Tyler and Curtis..we told everyone good bye before we left(around 12:30 am). I didn't want to leave those guys..but we had to..they looked tired..haha.
Anyways..that's pretty much the whole night. If I think of more I'll post!
