Like I mentioned in the last STeam email-we are going to TRY to do meet and greets for some members that have worked hard to promote for these upcoming shows...IF the venue allows...
I just wanted to let everyone know I am going to try to get the rest of the info for these possible meet and greets out later tonight (example-who to contact for what shows, etc.)
So remember...keep working hard to promote these shows!

I'm going to the Chicago show, but I really have no idea how I'd promote seeing as I live in Michigan....no where near Chicago boarder. Any ideas? I'm going to the Michigan State/Northwestern game earlier that day...maybe pass fliers out there or something? I'm not sure if they're selling tickets at the door.
I'd LOVE to meet Tyler, so any way I can promote let me know!
so if we do hard promoting do we just send the person an email that we promoted to should we do vids or pics? also, does the show have to be sold out to get this meet and greet?
Is it possible for people who are not on the street team and just people who see a flyer go to the show, fall in love and want to meet him also. To ' Spend $??.?? or buy the cd and get a free pass to meet Tyler and get it signed. Like once they bought the Merch you put a mark on their hand, when it is meet and greet time, you have a section off to the side and who ever is Tyler's peeps only let people in the line who have the mark? Am I making sense? Maybe not, I think it would help make Tyler $$ (as sad as that is it is just a part of it) I may be crazy rambling, lol. There also may be people who say 'That's not Tyler's style' isn't the way this is going now, that only street teamers can go? It just gives everyone the opurtunity. Plus maybe some $$ for Tyler.
So it would be Hard working Street Teamers= Free Civilians= buy an awesome cd or shirt
I am just throwing it out there, I assume this would be mgmt or tyler's choice.

^ I think they have done in the past that you have to buy merch to meet Tyler afterwards.
However, I read the street team email and am a bit confused...are meet and greets only going to be limited to those chosen by the street team leader of that state? Personally, I think part of Tyler's appeal is his loyalty to his fans and making the effort to meet them. So, I am not too sure I like where this is heading...

That is the way I took it too. I thought it was sad that it would only be street teamers. I understand if Tyler can not do it at all shows the way he has in the past, just hangin'. I do think there should be some other option that still benefits Tyler. You are right on about Tyler's appeal. I guess there are other ways artist are loyal to fans, music wise, touring your life away, blah blah. I just can not see him doing what he has forever. (staying hours after shows) More fans, more hours. That is a lot to ask of him. I think just knowing how he is, i fully understand a change. either now or later. But going straight to only street teamers seemed like, whoa! Maybe I am taking this all wrong and I have not been around too long so maybe I should just leave this convo for the senior citizens around here. (lmao)
Incase anyone does not know, I promote most shows in some way whether I will be there or not. So I am not like against the street team, I am apart of it haha.
So are these shows with Stephen Kellogg not going to be like others in the past? Is Tyler going to just be hanging out after his set? Only people who buy something or are street team members will be able to meet him? And the show I'm going to in Madison WI is 18+ and those shows are usually more chill or whatever, no young crazy fans. So I'm just hoping that Tyler will be trying to meet everyone. And I don't think there's a street team here at all. I think I'm the only one on this board from Wisonsin.
I don't think he needs to greet everyone, because hopefully his fan base keeps growing, but it seems a bit early in the game to limit them to just street team members.
One thing I noticed is people going through the line multiple times (and I mean at least four times) - maybe if they start by limiting the number of times someone can go through line?
I've promoted quite a bit, so I have no problems promoting Tyler and love to promote Tyler but I would like if some possibility could still exist for non-street team members to still meet Tyler - because it could be someone's first show and they might fall in love with his music and who knows the next time he will be in their area? But if they bought a shirt, they would still have a chance to at least say "hi Tyler". Especially with these shows, he is heading to the midwest in areas he seldom visits and I think he's only been to Colorado maybe once before?

I don't think it's a problem - I just think we are really confused. I've always liked the idea in the past of people who promote exceptionally or help sell out a show to be allowed to attend the soundcheck, something special that others cannot do. I just don't think the email was too clear on exactly what's going on and we are looking for further clarification.

I just thought it would be a nice reward for the people who really worked hard to get people at shows for Tyler and get his music out there...
I have no control over the other meet and greets...I am only trying to do this to get people to promote and get his name out there...

More than likely, Tyler will still be hanging out by the merch table after the show (however, it always depends on how quickly they have to pack up and leave afterwards). This special street team meet & greet is going to be, I assume, like how the One Tree Hill tour was done. There was a pre-show meet & greet for certain people who had meet & greet passes from Tyler's or The Wreckers' eteam. Then, after the show, Tyler was over by the merchandise area to meet people and autograph things.
Most likely, anyone at the show will get a chance to meet Tyler...time permitting. These meet & greets are a reward to street team members, giving them a bit more time with Tyler than most likely just a rushed autograph line after the show.
are you guys still working on a website or something for the team? cause ive been getting a ton of emails about these M&G and well I dont really know anything about them lol
The website will be up someday...haha. Refer them to the MySpace for more information - or just forward their emails to tylerhiltonsteam@gmail.com and we can get back to them
yeah i thought this was for a pre-show meet and greet. i dont think Tyler wouldnt come out after the show unless he positively could not stay, so im sure, even if you dont "win" [so to speak] the meet and greet, you will have a chance to meet him unless he has other obligations.
ok and quick question: if you do promoting do u send the person who is in charge of it an email just saying "hey i promoted" or should we include vids and pics?
