This Friday Aug 11 Tyler will be performing at a special benefit show in Orlando Florida. Here is the location and a description of what the event is about.

Donna Charles, best known for her work on the popular t.v. show Hee Haw and for portraying Rosie the Cleaning Lady for many years as one of the popular Streetmosphere characters at the Disney-MGM Studios, suffered a stroke three months ago, resulting in a brain tumor.

Her fellow cast members have organized an after-hours benefit show at the Theater of the Stars at the Studios (normally home to Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage) to help her out. Every dollar raised will go to Donna to help defray costs for medical expenses and loss of work. An amazing line-up of Streetmosphere characters, current and retired, will be performing, as well as some of her former colleagues from her days at the Adventurer's Club. In addition to these performers a state of the art video booth has been donated by the NIKE corporation to send video greetings and get well messages to Donna. A representative from NIKE will be attending. The beloved actress SALLY STRUTHERS will be guest hosting as well. The event will be covered by national travel magazines, local Florida news stations, and representatives from the Disney Channel. The event will of course also be attended by hundreds of Donna's fans. (Please note that this will not be a typical "Disney" show, as this is an unofficial event focused on Donna.)

A Stella Night, For "Rosie" will take place on Friday, August 11, at 9 p.m. Doors will open between 8:00 and 8:30. As this is a special event, park admission is not required. A guest relations host will greet guests attending this event at the far right of the main gate of the Studios, near the ATM. Guests will be directed through a backstage area directly to the Theater of the Stars, During this walk to the Theater, Guests will be interacting with Streetmosphere as they are directed to this "Red Carpet" event.

A silent auction will also be held, featuring items not available to the public from all of the Equity stage shows within the Disney-MGM Studios, as well as items from Skywalker Ranch, and ABC soaps.

Donna Charles began working at Walt Disney World in 1982, doing trunk shows at EPCOT Center with the SAK Theater. She was selected to be a member of the original cast of the Adventurer's Club at Pleasure Island, creating the role of the club's maid. She was later asked to move to the Disney-MGM Studios to become part of what became known as Streetmosphere. She has created several Streetmosphere characters, including Rosie, who is now one of the most requested characters at the Studios.

Hey thats awesome a little pre-show before the one I paid to go to new york for. I am excited and I was just wondering if you could buy tickets beforehand or is it an at the door only.

Does Tyler's "biggest littlest fan" know yet?

Does anyone know how you can get tickets to this show. I have been emailing Tyler, Vicky and some people I know at Disney but I haven't got a response from anyone yet.

Yeah I have been wondering about the tickets as well.

Okay from what I can tell...and I have questioned everyone and anyone about this show. It is a $10 donation but more $ is better ( all the money will be going to medical bills for Donna Charles). You are supposed to show up at the front of MGM around 8 to 8:30 and member of Disney's quest relations is supposed to be there to take you throught the back to the area where the performance/benefit is taking place ( you don't need park admission). This performance has nothing to do with Disney it self. The benefit is being put on by Donna Charles' son David. I think that is all I know for now. If anyone wants to meet up at the performance I will be there so let me know and maybe we can get togther.

What began as a Tyler performance with full band has now been reduced to Tyler with (2) back up musicians. Should be a 1/2 hour set.

Nooooooo!!! this totally sucks. im going to be in orlando florida 4 days later. ohh wells.

When you call that number you will get the lady that is handling the concert. If you just get a message machine leave your full name, phone number and how many tickets you want. She will reserve your tickets and call you back to confirm. Tickets are picked up at the gate and they are to be paid in CASH only.

I am so excited I had to go shopping today to get something new to wear but I suppose I a weirdo. Anyways can't wait to see Tyler and Bob. Oh does anyone know who the other back-up players are going to be?

Tyler did a great job tonight but that was a little too much Disney magic for me. Beth and Michael were a great edition. I am sure someone will post pics before me, I don't have anything right now.

Tyler sang Pink and Black, Missing You, Picture Perfect, The Perfect Life, California and I think a couple more I can't remember.

On a side note, watch out for cockroaches the next time you are around Tyler...He HATES them!!! Isn't Florida grand....
