PEOPLES ON THE ROAD (March 16, 2004)

Hey everyone,

Name's Curtis, nice to meet you. I'll be going on the road with Tyler for the Virgin Mobile Tour and some other dates starting next week and wanted to keep a journal for the record. Tyler thought it might be cool if you guys read what was going on so...
I'll be giving rundowns of the shows and the days events, along with info on all the other random stuff that happens along the way. You know, I really have no idea how this whole tour's gonna go, but I like that, good things always happen when you just kind of run with it. I've never been on a tour like this before, so I'll admit to you guys I'm extremely curious and a little freaked out, but in a good way. Feel free to email (tyler@tylerhilton.net) with questions and comments, and check (www.virgincollegemegatour.com) for dates of the tour.
We'll also be posting video and pictures every now and then. Expect the unexpected, be prepared for anything...and keep your eyes peeled for the oddly colored (that's the way it was bought) purple and white Tyler Hilton Tour Van.

For starters, let me tell you how the show at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood on Tuesday, March 16 went. Good turn out. It's great to see the love and support you guys bring to Tyler's shows. It was kind of a chill vibe, but it worked for the room. Tyler started with "Pink and Black" which got things started right. He really pushed this song tonight, which set the show in motion. Tyler, at my request, played one of his older songs, "Up Late Again", which I think is a great song and the reaction the crowd gave seemed to second that emotion.
On the ride to the show Gavin DeGraw's "Meaning" was rocked out to its fullest. So glad he's on the Virgin Tour... Alright everybody, great meeting you, and I'll talk to you in a few days.
See "Starsky and Hutch", that's an order...
Later,
Curtis
