WEST SIDE STORY
Arthur Laurents, who wrote the original book for this renowned musical, will direct the much-anticipated revival. His acclaimed direction of Patti Lapone in GYPSY has taken New York by storm. WEST SIDE STORY was born 50 years ago, right here in Washington at The National Theatre! It will be re-born here in December, 2008, before moving directly to Broadway. This is a not-to-be-missed theatrical milestone.
