wow that's not too too bad... I always forget how far from me you guys really are even though you're only in the next state down. It's over 11 hours from up here and I really hate that drive, or at least I did when I did something like it a few years ago (DC to Louisville, Louisville to Atlanta *but I got to follow the band for that part*, Atlanta back to DC)
my backs hurting just thinking about it

Wish we could go...but in all odds its not going to happen. It's too far, and we're still in school. Bummer. A weekend VA trip though...that might be do-able.
haha I thought you meant to the AAR/ FOB show. I was like "Um no it's not, Amy". I want to know what day of the week the Nashville show is...
Can you hear the wheels turning in my head?
UGH! I just realized that now that I've been excepted into college, I can't use the "Hey mom, there's this college in Nashville that I want to visit and there just so happens to be a show there this weekend" excuse anymore :*(

Bummer! Just sound a little "iffy" about that CA college and be like, "Well....I'm not POSITIVE this is the school for me". Then go to Nashville...and pick me up on the way!
Bristol to Nashville = approx. 5 hours and 35 minutes away.... and we won't have a car
Well, if it's a weekend show, and we get the boys interested in Tyler.....or we get Jill to do her "Pleeasee" (because she really hasn't been to any concerts....except Ross....) then we could get Brandon/ Mike and Matt to drive us! That'd just be a 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 hour trip at any of our speeds. And if we stopped in Bristol and stayed the night at Brandon's house it would be peerrrrrrrrfect :-D or we could potentially get a hotel if they didn't want to drive for a few hours...but I dont see why we couldn't drive for a few hours....

Ahhh...on a Sunday. I really wish it was a Saturday, because that would be more hopeful. But...hmmm...8:00 on a Sunday...figure it would last 2ish hours so around 10. Plan for a little time to get out of there and get on the road, etc so around 11ish. Drive for 6 1/2 hours and get back to school at 5:30-6:00 am. And I would have a class the next day at 11:05 (but I've heard the teacher actually gives Extra Credit for going to the clas...not required...). Hmmmm...I guess it is do-able, but I'm not sure. Em...care to venture a guess?
Plus there is the problem of getting a car. But, this would be a mighty good birthday present, that's for sure!!!

haha this reminds me of the year Rob Schwartzman was trying to get me to go out to chicago I think it was the day the CD came out to go to the show. I was like "um...rob I have my accounting final that day" "yeah so?" "um...it's kinda my major" "yeah I know so what??"
those silly 'rockstars' (note the air quotes)
but yeah as long as it's not the final though...
haha I have no idea how many accounting classes I skipped for a show, ok so it was MAYBE 2, cuz I tried NOT to skip it unless it was a test day (don't worry we had a center to take tests out of class and he gave us that option every test just cuz not only if you were sick)

Listen to Gilly, Em...she is speaks wise words! Class skipping is ok!
You know, Theresa lives in Nashville. We might be able to crash with her Sunday night, skip Monday classes to drive home, and go to Schiffert the next day to get excuses
Long shot, I know, but at least we would get a Tyler show more than 3 songs!
