Is anyone else planning on going? I have suckered a friend of mine to make the 6 hour drive with me...any other devotees going to be there?

We will be coming from Mobile, Alabama. It will be my first Tyler concert, and I'm making it my Christmas present to myself!

awww! well a tyler show is definitely a great present to yourself.

i'm going to atlanta, charlotte, and norfolk. so that's pretty much my xmas present too. haha.

I'm trying to talk my friend into doing Atlanta, too. I already talked her into Norfolk and I'm working on Charlotte, lol. Hopefully, she'll get sick of hearing me and just cave, otherwise I need another roadtrip buddy.

Yeah that's not bad at all. If you are already going to make the trip to Norfolk, you might as well go the extra few hours to ATL & Charlotte. LOL. I'm driving to ATL & Charlotte & then flying to Norfolk.

Atlanta people-do you know of a decent, non-skeevy hotel near the venue? I've been looking online but I don't know the area really well.

I usually stay in Peachtree City when I come to Atlanta, but that's a little more of a drive than I'd planned.

My friend and I are staying at the Hampton Inn on Piedmont, SUPPOSEDLY right down the road from SOB. I say supposedly because I'm not great with directions. I checked it out on the Internet, and it looks decent. Rooms might cost you though ($100).
