The first show of the One Tree Hill tour, Vancouver style:

First of all there were a lot more people than I expected out to the show! The line up was all the way down the block and around the corner.
Bethany came out first, and she sang a few songs. Overall she was fine, but not my fav. I love her dress though! It was rainbows! Beautiful! She came out later and talked with the croud about the Oscars, she seemed nice.
Next was Tyler. He did a longer set than I had expected. He was so energetic, and seemed really happy to see all the fans. He started out with "Pink and Black" and ended with "Kiss On". He also played: when it comes, the letter song, glad, rolling home, slide, and picture perfect. "Picture Perfect" sounded amazing, I think it was better than the cd.
Next were the wreckers. Michelle looked tired, and Jessica had extensions in her hair (I think). These two girls blew me away! Their performance was amazing! They did quite a long set, of all their new stuff. They also did one solo song each. Songs called "tennesee" and "sit still look pretty" were my favs. Also a country blue grass song titled "My oh My" was so cute! I loved it! At one point Michelle patted her belly to the music, and I thought that was so sweet.
Next was Gavin. It took them 40 minutes to get him on stage. He did a great set, but I'm not a huge fan.
I waited afterward in the lobby, but only people with special wrist bands were allowed to stay for the meet and greet. Needless to say, I had to go outside in the freezing cold and rain to wait. I spotted Tyler through the doors and he looked over at me. I waved him over, but he just waved back. A few minutes later he looked back and smiled. But then he left. I waited for over an hour, without a coat! I was soooo cold. Gavin came out, and I got a pic with him. After that it was getting a lil too scary downtown, so we left. We seen a few buses leave, and a few band members with Gavin went into a near by club for an afterparty. I wanted to go, but I figured it was time to go home. It had been a long night.
Over all, the concert was amazing. The wreckers blew me away. Tyler sounded amazing, and I'm sure he's gained a lot more fans. He kept laughing at the teenies signs...there were a lot of teenies there! I felt so old! (and 22 is not old! lol)
Anyway, hope you enjoyed the review, and I know you'll have an awesome time at your concerts!!

There was merch there, but no cds. Only tees/shirts/hats...

Guys, when you go, make sure the first thing you do is ask about wristbands! They're for the meet and greet after the show. I was SO mad I didn't know about it. haha. I think Jenn did though?

The show overall was really good. I was pretty close to the front, but my camera made it seem like I was so far away and I was mad because only halfway through Tyler's set I realized that my zoom magnified even more! I think this was Tyler's setlist:

So I go out into the mezzanine during one of the intermissions to get something to drink, and a swarm of girls fly by me because Gavin DeGraw's there. I definitely...was not impressed with them, haha. But Gavin played for a good hour and a bit. And he was amazing! The Wreckers were awesome too, as was BJL. Bethany started the show off, and introduced all the acts. She even chatted with us during one of the many intermissions, and of course, another swarm of crazy teenies. She had to jump back onto the stage to avoid them trampling her!

But of course, you all know, Tyler was my favourite . He just had sooo much energy and you could totally tell he was excited to be there. And for those of you wondering: there were MANY jumps. haha.
Tyler, you rocked it in Canada. COME BACK SOON YA HEAR? haha.

I just noticed this post after I wrote a somewhat long review of blabbering thoughts. Yours is great, and I forgot to list Slide, which was just as outstanding, I loved it all. I had to go right after the show cause my friends and had our college class' early and one had to be at the airport and pack for a trip. I wanted to meet Tyler as a lot of you have, but when he comes back hopefully like he said he would, then maybe we will. Gavin would've been nice to meet too

lol, yeah I totally would've hung out with them after the show. Tyler especially haha Gavin invited the crowd out to the club with him after the show, and seeing as how me and my friend could get in, we thought it'd be cool but I had a midterm the next morning so I figured I shouldn't stay out too late!

Aww, I'm glad you guys had fun!! Kelly, I'm sorry you had to stand out in the cold/rain...but I'd give anything to get a picture with Gavvy! Okay, maybe not anything...but I love that man. His fans really annoy me, though. The only good thing about Gavin not being at any of the concerts I'm going to, is that means his fans won't be there either. And there was much rejoicing.

see i really want to like wait cause i want to meet tyler so badly. But the thing is this show is so big because it also has gavin and the wreckers so im thinking my chances are better at a show after the oth tour

Bethany and Tyler dint do the duet??? Did The Wreckers sing "the good kind"??

whoops! I forgot to put that in, yea Bethany and Tyler did when the stars go blue during Tylers set. And the wreckers did the Good Kind as their second song!
I'm really kicking myself for not asking about the wristbands....
Hopefully next time I'll meet Tyler...he said at the end that he would have to come back to Vancouver since it was such an energetic crowd!

you get wristbands for being the first 30 peoepl to buy merchandise right? So if your trying to be one of the first 30 to buy merchandise arent you not gonna get close to the stange. Because instead of running to the stage when the doors first open arent you goign to be running to the merchandise booth??? Im confused. Is the merchandise sold during the concert? befor or after???

What did Bethany's stuff sound like? I'm curious
