I emailed both Avalon and Unity Shows
got this in reply the same night... avalon responded as has mgmt
the show is for all ages and a good cause and full band Dina <dina@avalonhollywood.com>to me ... it is an all ages show. There are different prices for different ages. So go to the separate ages. It is an all ages show. You can buy tickets in advance at www.groovetickets.com |

If I were to go, I'd totally say I was under 18 so I'd only be paying 10. I wonder why the price difference?

It looks like Unity Shows are aimed towards younger teens to give them a chance to experience live music safely. The higher price for those 18 and over is to probably discourage a lot of the older crowd from attending. It says they ask for ID if you are buying the $10 ticket.
