Hello fellow fatter folk

Why is so much junk food ok during the holidays? Why? It's smile worthy to think how everyone lets go in the final weeks of the year while opening their new copy of South Beach Diet or Atkins with such plans! I love us. So does See's Candy...

You know how it goes. There's not too much news to report...I was Christmasing and New Yearing like the rest. Did everyone get a kiss at midnight...no? I mean a kiss (come on, you know...)? WHY NOT? ...or... RIGHT ON! (depending on the social situation you put yourself in) Oh, I've made an amendment to the midnight kiss rule and that is that an over the phone kiss is absolutely legit. So for those of you who weren't sure of how cool you really were because of YOUR phone thing, don't worry. You're in the RIGHT ON! category.

I had photos taken and did a really fun interview with a certain magazine whose April issue I might be in. Why the mystery? Some of you are probably thinking, "Hello, your dad/ you/ Vickey/ mass e mail told us already" but I'm trying to curtail that. What if it never goes to print and then everyone's thinking...liar. These are my insecurities. Here, you take them.

This last week I saw a visible step up in my clout. I was able to play at two places I've been trying to get into for some time: The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood and SOHO Restaurant in Santa Barbara. Quaint little places but worth mentioning as a new bragging right.

Last big news of this newsless entry is I've finally been able to get a cigarette lighter adaptor for the laptop. "What does this mean, Tyler?" you may ask. To that I say that now DVD's will be added into the road mix. With all the driving that touring entails, a break from the paper or whatever book I'm reading will be welcome. Yes, my brain may now turn to mush but I am justifying it by promising only to watch classics: suggest a few please.
