Okay guys, I have to say this. I've been a part of these boards for as long as I can remember and I've never ever seen such obnoxiously oversized banners/signatures as I do right now, in my entire time of being apart of the boards.

Granted I know it's up to you on deciding how large your images are - but please - can you be considerate to other members? I hate loading popular threads b'cz some people have HUGE banners/signatures that are bigger than the original post itself and it's now gotten frustrating.

Please, try to keep them down. I'm not the only one who's mentioned this - I'm just the chosen one to speak out about it. There is no need for 4 or 5 huge photos in your signature, so try not to abuse them. Besides, there are people on the boards who now can't even load certain threads b'cz the banner/image count is so high it takes too long for them.

So I'm just asking that it not get out of control, b'cz it seems to be heading in that direction.

Some people are still stuck on dial up, and it's got to suck for them. Trust me -- as someone who finally (and only recently) upgraded to DSL, it is a bit of drag to wait forever to have a page load due to oversized signatures.

I'm on DSL and it drives me crazy! I can't stand opening up a thread and seeing like 6 photos that are the size of PERU in some of them. No need for that, I'm not on the JMMB's

If you think THMB is bad...go to Ryan Cabrera's boards. Holy crap. Like...yeah. Here are some examples of the typical signature found on RCMB:



And they've gotten BETTER!! They used to be even worse. We must be thankful that THMB doesn't look like THAT. But at the rate things are going, it'll only be a matter of time. So, kids, please...restrain yourselves. Don't give into the temptations. And don't let friends drive drunk.

Ahhha TFAMS! Thats great...lol....yeah some people have too many photos on their signatures...I don't even have any....well thats because I am still trying to make a decent looking banner...lol....but some people have some massive pictures!

haha TFAMS i love it i randomly went over to the ryan boards the other day and was shocked by how many people had HUGE signatures...i was like wooow do you need 5 ryan and ashlee things? haha ohwell..hopefully it wont get that bad here!

I am proudly TFAMS second member. For real, one or two banners is cool. But massive pictures is ridiculous. It's the content of your posts, not your signature that makes the poster!

It was actually never intended to be like that. I thought we were all merely agreeing there was a problem. I'm actually glad someone said something. The banner was just a joke of getting the point across. That's all.
